I had a Harrier stop over my apartment building, hover for a few seconds at low alt, then jet off into the distance. Apparently a pilot on leave was staying in the building. Sucks living next to an NAS.

This Sunday at the Miramar Airshow I saw a Harrier hover for about 3 or 4 min doing circles it was funny and cool to watch.
