Why Runway Bash?

If I'm at 15k coming from a few bases away, why not come in fast vulch the planes upping on one or two passes to keep them down then by that time I have bleed my e and I can join the furballers at low to middle alt. That seems like common since to me. I'm not saying you should leave a teammate to die, but if the furball is even Why the heck would I bleed all my e- to engage someone low when i can do it 2 min from now and keep some planes out of the air? If they see me hitting them, if their smart they will up from a base farther away, giving the green guys time to move the fight over the red guys base and take it.

Hey I dont know if you realize this but this is a WAR game, the object is to capture the other teams fields. You might not like it but some people like playing the game for that aspect of it. and that my friend is the way to take a base.

I realize that.  What you need to realize is that winning the war after puting up a good fight can be a lot more fun.  Losing the war after puting up a good fight would be fun too.  Fighting for something, working hard for it instead of having it handed to you is a lot more fun.  But you would not know would you?  Give it a try.  My 5 year old could take an undefended base.  You guys need 30 people to do so, lol.
BTW, you do not capture a base by vulching.  You capture it by destroing the town, the VH, having troops ready, and then either vulch or bring the FHs down fi you cant keep the cap.  Vulching two guys before you auger does nothing.
Anyway, give TRYING a try.  You may find out that winning the war is more fun that way. :lol

This is NOT what HTC would want you to think like. Is'nt this the reason the arena changes were made, or so it seemed to me  :noid

Ok, this is deep, so bear with me whilst I try to convey what some guy named chuck yeager said...Like it said its deep, so try to understand," the enemy is a whole lot easier to kill on the ground, than in the air".  If its good enough for chuck, its good enough for me. I hope that isn't too confusing.:(

Why Furball?

Sorry for posting a whining post but why oh why do people keep avoiding captuing bases just to furball how sad and pathetic are them guys

this tactic seems to be used in the early war more often than the others and it sucks look at me im in a slow plane i can turn really well ignore that vulchfest at that enemy field and i can go and turn on the deck arent i great?

this tactic is imho a very sad way of spending your time on aces high why avoid capturing territory, and furball?

i dnt mind getting into a furball aslong as there is nobody to vulch but to fly through a group of vulching toolsheddders to furball is pathetic what sort of a person does this?

this isnt another play the game my way post because i believe everybody will play the game different to the nxt person im just getting a little miffed with the furballers lately.

Most sincerely

Nice!!!:lol
What is really sad is that the guys claiming they vulch to take the base and win the war, 99.99% have no goon there and have no clue if one is comming.  Not to mention that they vulch with the town, VH, and even the field ack up.  Yeah, we beleave you.  You are trying to take that base. lol :rofl

Heh heh Fury my hat is off to you sir, we may not agree on this particular issue but you got class.

Topics like this seem to have become an endless repeat of similar postings on the boards and it always seems to boil down to the inability of people to respect or even care for the opinions of others.  Folks, get a grip PLEASE!  Look I despise the taste of liver and onions but do I care if someone else likes them?  No.  Why is it that we can't apply that same consideration to other issues?  I've seen people come to blows over football teams and musical tastes - WTF is up with that?

Is it really a problem in life when someone likes playing differently in their virtual plane than the way you like to play?  If it is, then it might be time to take a step back and really consider what is and isn't important in life - and really I'm not trying to be an arse here and that isn't directed at any one person.

Not according to HiTech.  He want arena with a max of 200 - 300 players in them.

If he wanted to do away with the ability to capture a field , don't you think he would have done that?
