Justin Verlander is the AL Rookie of the year and he will be Pitching against Jeff Weaver (aka Dream Weaver).  Verlander didn't do so well in game one because of the week off.  His fast ball was in the mid 80's- this from a guy who touches 100 mph routinly.

Look at the gun early and see if he's in the mid 90's.  If he is, game over, because he'll be touching 100's and he will be un-hitable.

Weaver is a low character player who will choke tonight, just like meathead (aka hgh, steroid head) has.

Tigers will win tonight.

What's the excuse if the Cards take it tonight?  The cold got him down?

And then the oh so awesome pitching speed of Tigers pitching, what happened to Rodney last night?  Another error by a Tiger pitcher:eek:

Edit: Good start to the game...

So far the Tiger pitching staff has been the MVP for the Cards. BUT, fundamentally the cards have outplayed them as well. It really frags me since I'm such a big Tigers fan, and I've been waiting a long long time (almost as long as St. Louis hehe). Eckstein was fantastic last night and it could have gone either way. I sure hope my Tigers can pull themselves together and bring it back.

Too bad it wasn't Cardinal Red. ;)

GO CRAZY, FOLKS! GO CRAZY!
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

The only thing I had trouble deciding at the end of the game was whether Eckstien or Molina deserved the MVP award.  Gotta be good when you have trouble deciding.  Both of them were outstanding.

I have to admit I almost lost faith at the end, I was afraid Wainwright was going to choke and lose us the game.  He just seemed mentally rattled.  No pressure, right?  I damn near spilled my beer when he threw that last strike.  :)

WTG guys.  You make us proud!

way to go cards! you earned it!

oh, and my favorite sign I saw was:
" The Experts are Idiots! Go Cards!"
