Photographers: Do you shoot when its raining cats and dogs?
« on: October 18, 2006, 08:07:54 PM »
I have to in the Pacific Northwest.... We've been VERY fortunate this year for football season, hasn't rained but 1 day during our football games.

We've been hired for Washington State Youth Soccer Assc., Semi Finals and Finals (12U-19U teams) on 2 week-ends (Nov/Dec) and guess what...it rains here alot!

I picked up this Probrella umbrella to protect the camera body alittle more. My existing rain hood isn't long enough for my new lens, so I'll have to get a longer one.

Modeling is my youngest Soccer(Football to you Euros) son.

I'd have to say i'd prefer that in hot or rainy weather.  Especially that hood, nice and dark, and shade!

i didnt!  i kinda had my BMW baseball cap on, with my rain cap over that as a big cover for my face and the camera (canon S3IS). The rain was coming straight down at first, but that img800 was the last shot because the wind started to pick up and started throwing rain INTO us. i couldnt shoot then as my camera was getting wet.

Instead we went back to the carpark and made a mess of it......

Dumb question mate.   You wouldn't happen to have any Senna pics from Silverstone?   I saw him in 86 and was too amazed to take a pic.

NP.   I just figured I'd ask ya.   I still like the WRC pics.   IMO, they're the best drivers in the world.

Lol, you haven't seen REAL rain if you think that little getup will protect your camera.

the best time to take a picture is when it's raining cats and dogs, see:
