Greetings fellow Pilots

If I were to begin with my thoughts about the changes in the game in the last, say, 3 months it seems I would be breaking Rules 4,5,6,14,15,and maybe 8 and 9, and get deleted.
I have looked at some of the threads and have seen that some members feel their posts are deleted for differing opinions ie sensor ship, so what's the point of having "open" forums if  some one disagrees with the powers "at be" and get their opinions deleted.

It will be interesting to see if this post is deleted.

Wezy
P.S.
Ummm, I'm already disappointed.
I looked at "one"count them "one" other thread, it was full of breaking the rules, bad mouthing the squads, and using bad language covered up by ** in the signature. I guess some are just allowed to do these type of things.

If you have a legit complaint or really feel "Wronged" its better to just email HTC .

but theres nothing stoping you from posting other then the basic rules of this forum.

FWIW it isn't the disagreement, but the manor of disagreement that gets deleted.

"I disagree with x y and z." -- fine

"OMG HTC IS OUT TO GET ME AND ****** ********* ** ** **** **

AND OTHER ASSORTED %$@#&*@#" -- gets deleted.

HiTech / Skuzzy keep a lot more out here in the "open" than I would if it were my show.

I tend to agree with the original poster. I posted a couple of comments right after the original arena shakeup but have kept pretty much silent since. I have however read most all of the posts in related threads since then. I agree that the editing and deleting has been somewhat more heavy handed towards those that voice negative opinions about the changes. On the other hand, a handful of the HiTech "cheerleaders" have been consistently, ad nauseum personally abusive of others that have contrary opinions. Their posts stand. Furthermore, I fully understand that "its HiTech's game and he can do whatever he wants" but HiTech IMHO could stand to get some remedial instruction on public and customer relations in respect to interaction on this BB. I've played this game since April. I'm not a furballer and I'm not a mega squad member or member of any squad for that matter. I'm not going to extoll the virtues of any type of gameplay vs. another. All I know is that the game is not as fun as it was before the changes. Not as much fun FOR ME. If its still fun for you - fine. Different people have and will always have different opinions. I won't suddenly start playing tennis a radically different way because whoever owns the tennis court has decided that is how he wants me to play tennis whether he thinks its better for the long term health of his court or not. At some point I'll just walk away.

its not rocket science kiddies..

HT and the guys are less tolerent of posts that are disrespectful twords them or the game .  I don't know what to say except" WELL DUH!"

If you have negative comments saying things like "this &*^%$ sucks"
or "HT is stupid" will get deleted

saying "I don't like the new setup.. here is why" will not get deleted
 its all in the presentation.

also there are people who like to duplicate currently running threads.. those get merged or shut down.

If someone made a comment about you personaly that called you a bleeding idiot and it didn't get deleted maybe they had a link to a source on that... or perhaps it was a given based on what you had posted.

:D

Oh Hi wezy looks like we dissagree on this one eh?

while Ive been deleted many many times, and annoyed since half of those didn't warrant deleting, you have to remember.......

While your country is "free" and has freedom of speech, this does not, this is a forum run by HT, and its "dictatorship" and they can do what they please.... just like changing the game... so really, we have no rights here at all, except the privilege to post

(ps this is NOT a insult to anyone at HT, all forums are like this, and people wanting freedom of speech.... but its your forum u can do what you please, this is not a democratic country, this a is a FORUM run by HT)

te1qut: Take a real look at the fourm, how many of the post disagree with me, there are still there for everyone to read, just like yours is.

The key is how you post, you post is perfectly ligit view point, and basicly dosn't include any name calling.

I.E. Your post stayed well withing the bounds of Rule #4, post in a respectifull maner to others.

i think some of you guys are thinking of posts right after the big arena change.

lots of those thread were closed because so many guys kept making new threads when told not to. the result, an entire forum full of 1 post threads about the arena changes, instead of being put in the thread 'arena changes, post your thoughts HERE'

that is why they were deleted, they were taking up space and werent where they were supposed to be. because of that they were moved or deleted

I can’t speak for anyone but myself but I can assure you that my thread

was not complimentary towards Hitech and they never interfered with my posting. To the contrary Hitech got involved and answered issues I never

thought of. I don’t agree with their ideas and I would have to admit that I was fairly abusive in my accusations but you could never say they are

afraid of criticism or getting involved.  When was the last time you ever got a response from any company pres. You have to give the guy credit where

due.  I may not agree with him but he has my respect. Any post worthy of deletion would have to pretty abusive.
Be careful what you shoot at. Most things
in here don't react too well to bullets.
