interesting concept, Not every arena, just one of them, like the A&A arena, turn off kill shooter also. Allow for when a prop is placed in an over speed condition that it fails. Require engine warm up periods or the engine fails and no spawing at the end of the runway, you have to taxi out of the hanger to runway to take off. If you want bombs or any type of ord you need to taxi to the arming pad . Also engine failure because of excessive engine cooling for not holding the right RPM during a power off glide. On Board O2 failure do to battle damage. Require the pilots to have to manually switch fuel tanks. Also lets have real radar, do away with the darbars, Only show an aircraft if it is in an acutall radar ring, expand the radar out to 30 miles. add O2 supply as part of the airfield damage model. Any aircraft operatiing out of an airfield that had lost it's ability to supply O2 to the aircraft departing from it, could not fly above 14 or 15 thousand feet with out the pilot blacking out.
Very interesting. Gives you something to think about while flying around in an arena with only 15 people split across three countries in it.
Seriously, I really do like the idea of a full realism, or as close to full realism, arena as you can get in a PC game.
Add on:
1) No auto self retracting flaps, if you overspeed they get damaged and jammed.
2) If you bail out at 400mph you slam into the tail and die.
3) Weapons that jam randomly based on a historical %.
4) If the base fuel is damaged down to 25% you have to fly with crappy fuel that gives a % of lower engine power.
5) Known issues that randomly occur such as MW Typhoon tails snapping off, Ki-84 brakes that fail, ect.
6) GVs that actually have to burn fuel to get somewhere. And fuel load affects hill climb, accel, ect.
I'm sure ya'll can think of 50 more!
