Get off it. He's got a valid point.
Something needs to be done. All the things HTC has done recently have NOT fixed the problem. In MWA tonight, for example, rooks had 48-something pilots [edit: fixed number], knit had 29, and bish had 15 or so. And yet there wasn't a single ENY limitation on the rook horde. They steamrolled several fields (on the knit front, this time) all in a row and just by sheer numbers they were able to take them. We literally didn't have enough folks to chase down the half-dozen bomber formations all flying 15k over the same small airfield. Even a blind squirrell will find an acorn now and then, but 10,000 squirrells all in a single room full of acorns with only 1 security guard -- well a lot of those squirrells are going to find a nut.
Before that in the LWA the numbers were pretty damn tilted to the Bish (I think it was the bish). I checked and they had a 10.9 ENY limitation. I checked moments later, and the second team gained less than 10 players, and that ENY limitation dropped to 5.9. They still had double both the numbers on the other teams, but the ENY limitation was all but gone.
The "arena cap" solution does NOT fix the problem of roving hordes that just suicidally smash themselves into the enemy. Numbers alone can and will win when they've got all the fastest, best-armed planes with which to smash into the enemy.
The arena changes are a step forward, but NOT toward the end goal of reducing the horde gang-bang mentality. They don't fix that at all. They fix other problems, but not this.
