I'm running Athlon750
256MB ram
64mb nvidia Geforce 2mx 400.
I've tried changing the hardware acceleration, checked the sound to see if it was sharing but it's not.the screen freeze occurs no matter if it's a plane or vehical.whenever I turn or fire weapons it has the sound but goes to 0framerate.

Sounds somewhat similar to my situation. Sometimes when I bank the plane I hear that nasty buzzing sound (not the stall horn) and the screen stutters.

Looking at his system we haven't got any hardware in common.

Gandolf, Mav... this sounds like the same mystery I've been having. Tell me, have either of you noticed that your system clock has been losing time? like 15 minutes per day?

I got this last night. I was using the DX8 build in 32 bit mode. I thought it might be related to aircraft spawning locally, but rolling the plane in a sector while alone presented the same results. I have not noticed any sound problems, but sometimes the screen freezes for something like 20-30 seconds, though mostly it is just a hesitation in frames.

Gents,

Please see post I will put up in hesitations and stutters today. I may have fixed it.

My system doesn't freeze, but I do get low frame rates and stall warning buzzers and machine gun fire that won't stop. In other words, I'll almost stall, get the buzzer, correct it and start flying level or whatever. But no matter what I do, the stall buzzer continues, sounding sort of like an echo.
The same thing happens with machine guns.
It's only an occassional problem _ maybe once a week. It usually goes away if I quit and then relog. I always put it down to my system barely meeting the AH requirements, but maybe it isn't.
