10 fps with a 1ghz and tnt2ultra?

hey, i just got the game and signed for 2 weeks free trail.

i'm running on a 1ghz , 192ram and a Tnt 2 ultra 32 video card.

i am getting 10 fps.
why? whats the problem? a friend with a 733 and tnt2 and he gets 40 +..
please help me, this is bugging me, i've tried switching resolutuons and 16bit and 32bit but it wont help.

That is very strange.  You should be getting a much higher framerate than that.

More detail is needed about your setup.  Mainboard, CPU, etc.  Driver versions.  DX version, OS... all that.

BTW, where are you measuring this?  In the tower, or in flight?  Sitting in the tower at a large field tends to be very low framerates compared to actual gameplay.

this game works so slow
comparing to Warbirds where i get 50 fps.

We can't do a damn thing to help you unless you give us your DirectX version, version of RogerWilco, what programs are running in the background, your operating system, etc.

Having he same thing..My frame rate has been like 60 to 70. Now it will go to 12 when in a simple dogfight. Don't know the version of Directx. Nothing but RW running in background and SB Live. So..Im lost...Im no puter wiz either. I would be glad to answer your question about what i have...But really dont know how to check to see.  Just know it was working great..now..not.  Jackal

Hi Mafio,

It seems like you have the problem is BOTH sims! in both you should get higher.....
Just check in Desketop that NOTHING unimportant running on the backround! anti-virus...etc'etc'......it lowers the FPS.....shut it down.....all of it......thos FPSuckers.
