hmmmm O'Reilly made this promise years ago...

Speaking on ABC's Good Morning America on 18 March, 2003, O'Reilly made the following promise:

"If the Americans go in and overthrow Saddam Hussein and it's clean, he has nothing, I will apologize to the nation, and I will not trust the Bush administration again."

We're waiting for to apologize bill...

Say what you will about O'reilly, but the fact is that he is an extremely intelligent man, who can back up 90% of what he says with facts...Thats a lot more than most liberals

I find it both very scary and very, very sad that anyone in america cant or wont answer that question with a YES.

I do know that people that would answer that with a NO are planting roadside bombs and blowing up police stations.

If he was really an extremely intelligent man, he would be able to get a point across, or win an argument, without screaming at the other guy and not letting them say anything.

The problem with the debate last night is that AFGHANISTAN and IRAQ should NEVER be used in the same sentence/topic/subject.

I have never seen him scream at anyone, and he didnt scream on Letterman, and he did give Letterman the opportunity to answer without interruption.

O'Reilly was just on Oprah (wife had him on, and I caught some of it), he was doing a Q&A with idiots in the audience, and he didnt scream, interrupt or berate them.

But vudak, feel free to stick with your nonsense since reality and fact doesnt seem to be in your bag o' tricks.

Actually Vudak, he's right.

I can't recall ever seeing Bill O'Reilly berate, yell, or go off on anybody. I have watched him debate many times, and he was generally respectful.

I saw the Letterman show. Dave was hamming it up, and you could tell he was taking it all a bit too personal. Letterman had the laughs, O'Reilly won the debate hands down.

Dave was all quips and 1 liners, but he didn't ever "say" anything. He spent most of that convo' dodging O'Reilly's questions if you ask me. Granted, 1 liners, quips, dodges, and personal attacks are par. for the course when debating w/ a liberal.

I have. I saw him be a total bastard to a young guy who's father died on 9/11. I mean the type of bastard that would proably get him beat by most people here.

That is a LOADED question. The reply can be contorted to either side of the argument. THAT in itself is the way the media compliments the politicians in their "Shell Game".
