Alotta new players?

HTC, somebody tonight brought up a really good question, a real stumper. What if your player base continues growing, to the point that there are 1,000 or more players wanting to get on in one night?

It was mentioned because before the changes made to the arenas, there were close to 800 logging on the weekends. If the base grows enough, how is this going to apply to our current setup?

I imagine they will just add arenas as more people start playing. With new players comes more income, and thus the ability to spend more on infrustructure. So servers and bandwidth are not problems.

Doesnt that happen with the dynamic caps?

I vaguely recall seeing the LW2 mauve arena with a cap that high when the LW1 chartreuse was right at the limit. And, I know the MW cap is over 300.

LMFAO... that would be a little more interesting.... IF you could get in it without being kicked over to the 45 player arena.

Hitech, I have read your posts on your reasons for making this change... It's nice that you had an arena to almost hit 300 but my question is, how do I and my squadmates get in there to enjoy it?

Neither arena was full at 290, the cap would have been at least 320, therfore you should have not had a problem, or just pick the lower arena.

Wala your all together.

I do hope it is getting sore by now, so you will learn how to stop doing that.

actually each arena has a entry policy - when a certain player trys to enter that arena, every player already in the arena gets a popup dialog box with the players ID listed to vote on whether  or not to let the player in.

apparently you just dont have the numbers .. sorry guy
