KI84 Fuel Damage
« on: October 30, 2006, 03:08:22 AM »
While i was flying a Ki-84 last night i was hit by the ack and my fuel was hit. I flew round for a couple of minutes to help de-ack and then headed back about a sector and a quarter to the nearest freindly field to hopefully land (fully expecting to not make it due to fuel loss). However, i noticed that the fuel didnt seem to going down any quicker than without damage, and when i landed the little red marker on the KI84s fuel guage was still a little over half way full. Is this right, or is there something wrong with it?
Not that im complaining  =)

Make sure the fuel you had remaining is in the tank that is damaged. If it is you should leak/loose fuel.
Empty fuel tanks can and will leave a vapor trail if they are damaged so it can be misleading.
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.
