Aileron with keys
« on: November 01, 2006, 07:04:48 PM »
Is there a way to map full left or right aileron to the keyboard?

I'm doing some testing and need to ensure that I go pure aileron with no elevator input, which I can't really be certain of with a stick.

Thanks

You could increase the deadband of the axis you do not want input from and test the other axis that way.
There probably is a method to use with keyboard only but IMO the first one seems better and easier.
Also, I believe any keyboard command would be incremental and not be full left or right.
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

Depending on what stick you have, you couls simply use another axis, for example the throttle lever or a rotary/slider.

Or add deadband to elevator axis, like Fuze suggested.

AFAIK theres no way to map Analog inputs to keys (but i might be wrong).
