Hypocracy?
« on: November 02, 2006, 10:04:38 AM »
Constant gripes about La7, Spit, Nikki players on bbs & ch200 because perceived as being easy killers but what about the F4u4 & Tempest users? These are the ultimate piston planes & imho easy to rack up kills in, yet nobody complains about them being gamey or "dweeby".
Is it because you have to earn your perks or is it a macho thing?
It could be argued that if you're good enough to earn perks to fly them, you should be flying more challenging types. Bit of a Catch 22 eh?

hence why the guys that complain about them all the time are the dweebs and self proclaimed 'hot shots'

the guys that whine like that are just skilless idiots with nothing to do when they get their arse handed to them but cry and come up with retarded excuses.

:rofl

Well, you take a risk to fly those... You are more likely to be a serious target in a big fight.  Nobody is gonna let the Tempest guy fly home if they can help it.

IMO The Lgays should have been limited to the 2 canon models and they would be more representative of what they were in WW2... The 3 canon LA7 in combat was about as rare as the He 162

The rumor is that in AH the 2 cannon La7 is more manuvorable and slightly faster than if you use the 3 cannon option.  I have flown it both ways and didnt really notice a difference except that for me snap shots are harder without the 3rd cannon.

Yep. You are outnumbered 5 to 1 in a p40 by guys flying the non uber planes, ohhh lets say a 38 for example.  You kill 3 of them, you are hurt, down to your last rounds when one of them finally HOs you.  You try to up but you get vulched by the remaining aces in the non uber planes.  Then, you sneak a lala out of a hangar, kill one of them and hunt down the one trying to run now that he has a 1 vs 1. He knows the lala will catch him but he is hoping his friends that died first are on the way. You catch up to him as his first friends make icon contact. Easy kill, even though he is an ace, the lala rules the skies. Finally, after killing one or two more you get hoed by a non uber 38.
Then, you get called a lala no skill dweeb for HOing him (even though you never fired a round).
Thats Hypocracy.  All these aces that cry about the lala can only fight when they have numbers.  The reason for the crying is that the lala will not let you rtb when the fight becomes even.  Lets face it, no one came in here crying for killing someone in an LA7 :rofl

La7's are noy hard to kill if your in a 38... only time there is a problem is if they run or get helpl so your attention is drawn away.

I don't get upset about someone GOOD in an LA7. I get upset by people who are obviously dweebs and the ONLY thing they do is HO and pass 30 guys on their way down to the runway to vulch. I don't mind vulching, but when you pass up a bunch of other guys just to get an easy kill on the runway, you are an uber dweeb. The LA7 seems to be the plane of choice for these dweebs because its fast, has good firepower and it doesn't cost anything.

lol, i'll take you up on that if you like

don't get too cocky bunny ;)

la7 is a great ride actually, great dogfighter in the right hands, it just gets a bad name because it IS a dweeb ride, it's bloody fast and has cannons. like others have said it lets assorted noobs and dweebs get kills, despite the fact that my dog is a better pilot :lol

More importaintly, this is a game requiring a thick skin at times.  Give an enemy any credence to their comments, and you give some of them a psychological advantage.

CH 200 may be good entertainment at times, but lending any serious basis to those comments doesn't do you any good.

As a former athlete, I understand the need for some to trash-talk, yet a champion will filter it out and do his/her talking via the scoreboard.

Good Hunting!
