the dark exhaust dosnt come out of those slots on the wing it passes around them.

its exhaust stains that trail back all the way from the engine cowling. look at the default skin i made of the b17 to see what im talking about.

most common mistake that everyone makes weathering the b17.
Fester was my in game name until September 2013

It's not ment to look like it came out of wing slots sorry. I made a mistake by using plugin i was looking at that earlyer. That was ment to make it look 3d.

I need to erase the center. I cant get it to look right thats why its still like that. Thanks for tips!

Need some screenshots from below.

Also the rudder had a huge step from stab to rudder, I'd emphasize this with a darker shadow/shade on this control surface (regardless of the other surfaces).

Check your deicer boots, again. Either they are missing on the underside, or they stop before they get to the "edge" of the upper wing. I can see green and yellow stripes underneath them.

EDIT: Also, if they have deicer boots on the wings and V-stab, they'll have them on the H-stabs as well.

Still need to see it :)

You're asking us for opinions, so we need to see :aok

Example, if you did a smash-up job on the top, but the bottom looked like a finger-painting nightmare, how would we know? :D

The deicing boots should extend to the bottom side of the wing. In fact, they were of slightly greater area under the wing than on top.
