In a tirade riddled with expletives, Kanye said he should have won the prize for his video "Touch The Sky," because it "cost a million dollars, Pamela Anderson was in it. I was jumping across canyons."

"If I don't win, the awards show loses credibility,"

I knew the guy was delusional after his "Bush hates black people! " comment but to storm onstage after losing an award is over the top.

I'm waiting for him to start claiming MTV Europe hates Blacks.  :rofl

More accurately, I think MTV hates music videos.  They appear to have ethnically cleansed them from their channel, haven't seen a video on there during a channel flip in years.

MTV just shows 3rd rate reality TV shows and that Pimp My Ride (my only favorite :D )

MTV2 has all the music(s).  If you have expanded basic cable, there's also MTV hits, MTV jams, MTV Latino, etc etc

Filth, you may not have understood, but the video was about pranks people pull on their friends who have passed out drunk.  The 'friends' themselves are never shown, and the song is apparently quite ironic.

It's essentially a video version of the old phrase "With friends like these, who needs enemies?"

Reminds me of when Tim C climbed the scaffolding after Rage Against The Machine lost to Limp Bizkit.  But that was funny, Kanye is just pathetic.

The term ironic applies here.  It's a song about great friends.  But these great friends have "Shamed" the friends who passed out after drinking.
