Or how about this, if you wish to repair damage, you get out of your plane, have a cup of coffee , have a chat with the gent's in the tower, they when your ready to take off, you press a fly button?

either that or a good pint of bitter... :D

any way that a bar could be put into the O'club as a texture??? that would be really awesome, drinking in the tower with the squad and friends :D

Both ways work... the suggestion was to add additional depth to gameplay.  Just like adding pilot pickup funtionality with jeeps/m3/goon.  You don't need them but they add a lot to the coolness and versatility of the game.  Improving gameplay = improving retention of player base.  That is the point.

What if repairs, 1 took couple of minutes and 2, cost some perks?

just an idea :)

Re-arm pads
« Reply #23 on: November 09, 2006, 07:56:43 AM »
With regards to re-arm pads, I would like to see a re-arm pad about midway down the runway, save on tire rubber if I didn't have to taxi so far, hehe. I do see this becoming a prime vulchin' spot, but what the heck! Also, it would be neat if there was a re-arm pad on the vehicle bases. Damage repair, well would be nice, but maybe later.:)

What if the hangers on the base are down and the next close base is under attack???

I had some situations when it would have been very nice to get a repaired plane, without  to leave it.  With planes, but specialy with tanks(VH is fast down) i would like this.

30sec to refuel/rearm and 90sec to repair would be good i think(enough time to get a coffee lol ).

Yeah, I just don't know what their value is in the MA.  In Offline practice, their default value is the same as the bunkers/barracks, etc...  So, 250 lbs?
