Memorial Flight - Woody
« on: November 05, 2006, 09:07:03 AM »
Just a final reminder.  The Memorial Flight for Woody, who passed away recently due to complications from a transplant, is scheduled for tonite, Sunday November 5th, at 9:00pm EST in the SEA.

Many folks in the Arenas have asked if this is an open flight, or just Nightmares.  Woody was a Nightmare for ten years, but a member of this Flight Sim Community for even longer.  He made many friends during that time, and certainly all who wish to pay their respects are welcome.

If you are available for a few minutes, we hope to see you there!

Cya Up!

Very nice gesture.   all around to those who will participate tonight.  I'll be working, but would have wanted to take part even though I did not know Woody.

Regards,

I never met him, but I know how it feels to loose a member of a community, even if it is just an online gaming community. Wish I could be there but I havent subscribed yet.

It was a fitting flight for such a nice person.  Many of you can understand how this is just a video game but after 10+ years you do get to know a few people in this community.  Woody was one of those guy's you actualy would have liked to meet in real life.

Thanks to everyone that showed up and those that were unable to come but wanted to.  I speak for all of us when I say your support ment alot to the Nightmares.

I know there were many who would've liked to make that flight, but like me, were unable. But I (we) were there in spirit. Thanks to all who did show up for it, and thanks for posting a screenie, Dawggus.

Again, Woody.
