i am making skins using default skins with ww2 nose art for my squaddies........if i understand correctly these skins will not be approved...is this true???????

well that is not right then....says custom skins.....these are default with historical ww2 pinups as nose art and my buddies names on them..tottaly clean and appropiate,,,

Custom skins is one thing. Making unhistorical nose-art for planes that historically didn't have it is another.

Note that you can for a squadron with your friends, and upload the same "noseart" for that squadron. Then everybody will have that same noseart on their planes when they fly. That's separate from the skin itself, and applies on every skin you use.

Monte skins are historical for the planes.

What you are getting at is squad noseart this has to be set to certain requirements  i think its 64x64  and 256 colours.

If you look at examples in your aces high directory under squads you should be able to see a list of all the other squads noseart.


However for a squad of your size i doubt youll get everyones name on there  you will have to make a logo with a sexy lady on their with your squad name.  In game this will appear on the left side of your plane.  Near the engine on the nose.

Once you have made it just upload the file through the clipboard this can be updated or changed whenever you like.

what do you mean upload it with the clipboard ...and i meant one persons name on each plane......i made one and it only shows up in the skin selector of the clipboard offline......i figured i had to get it submitted to show up online

I'm not sure how trial accounts work with skins/noseart however assuming you have a paid up account......

If you go into the online arenas find the O'club, squads, then you should have an upload noseart option.

Noseart applies to a whole squad.  whoever is listed in your squads roster will have the same noseart.

you are unable to have indivadual names.

What the others are getting at in this thread are that all skins in game are historically accurate and have to be.  only the noseart can be altered by yourself.
