Camera views in Film Viewer?
« on: November 07, 2006, 05:26:54 PM »
Is there a way to setup a free floating view that is not attached to a player while using the AH film viewer?  for example if there are two planes and I want to film them flying by a specific point without being attached to them is this possible?

you can fly 3 planes and have one of them be the camera plane. When you are in film veiwer choose the gun cam option for that plane to make it disappear. Then use the chase mode to zoom around the two other planes.

Try the fixed view. Its about as close to external as you can get.

Another idea would be (if your rig can stomach it), to open a H2H room and film the shots you need "on the fly", with God Mode (F5).

I just had another idea.

When you jump into another plane in the viewer and that plane crashes/dies... you are "stuck" rooted in place wherever that plane died.  You could try to get another plane to tower out or crash at the spot you want your camera at for filming.
