Oh yes the Puma would be nice. Check out Ground Vehicals in the Aircraft/Vehical forums and see about the .222 armourd car. Pretty sweet.

Back on topic/ The Puma very fast, has an alright gun and would give the M8 a fighting chance. Make it a could escort for M3s or Jeeps. Make some good tank battles for scenarios with the M8.

I say YES!

Think I would rather have the SdKfz 234/4 PUMA with the 75mm PAK 40. At least with it you would have a chance against evemy tanks. The 50mm on the 234/2 isn't going to be very effective except against other armored cars, half tracks or jeeps.

How many shots does it take you vs how close do you have to get with a 75mm vs. a 37mm?

I killed a Tiger with the manned ack on an airfield once.

About the only thing I've ever HIT with the manned ack, for that matter. :D

Woo! I see some Aces Over Europe old-school goodness, there.

:aok

AotP was better, tho.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

depends on the situation. if i am hiding and he rolls past me .. 2-3 .. the 75mm will do more damage granted..  but theres nothing wrong with the m-8's 37mm and the 50mm is just equal to the task is all i am saying ..

Yes, 75mm gun, only . . . a lot less ammo, and no turret.  And open topped = easily taken out by aircraft.

50MM version would be my vote for the above reasons.  The gun would be adequate IMO.

I'd take the Puma with the 50mm. I and 2 others have destroyed a tiger tank in M8s. Its possible just matters your distance from target, and where you shoot it. Like I have said in the past, the more heavier armourd, more powerful tanks we get the less chance of getting something like the Puma, or Sherman, because then people will be complaining about it not being able to compet with the more heavily armourd/larger caliber gun tanks. I think HTC needs to spend more time on the Lighter/Medium armoured tanks then these heavily armourd tanks.

Think of it like planes. No one wants early war fighters because theres so many late war fighters, and people want planes that can compet with the late war fighters. More light/medium tanks, the better chance of having fun, and then we can get those awsome heavy tanks.
