Beep at start and end of transmiting
« on: November 12, 2006, 02:36:00 PM »
Hello guys, I just bought a Mic and set it up to play in the game. I did the self check like  Aces net talks about. I typed .radio 5 Black70 and tried it. When I do I can hear a beep at the beginning and the end. It does not do anything in the game though. I press F12 and I can communicate with the others but I have to gamble when I'm actually transmiting. Is there a way I can have this beep present in the game. It would help me to know when it's time to talk and when the communication as ended. Thanks

under setup there should be a selection for voice, try clicking the beep button.

The other players hear your beep, you never do.
The reason you hear it when you self-tune is that you are actually transmitting to yourself.
If you uncheck that beep button you wont hear it when you self-tune either.
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

Thanks fuzeman, so that means that nobody has beeps when they are talking but only the receivers. Thanks again.
