First:  Army of Anyone's debut album - Richard Patrick of Filter (incredible voice), the Deleo brothers of STP and some kick bellybutton tour drummer.  They released a single called Goodbye and it rocks my balls... I didnt hear much air time though.  That doesnt matter, the rest of the album is gold.  buy it. :)

Second:  I'm off to the Aussie Pink Floyd show tonight.  Anyone ever see these guys?  Great reviews.  I've been floyding out all day, cant wait.

my god!!!  This concert was fluff'n incredible... they are floyd.  Awesome musicians.  Every little detail was reproduced, it sounded exactly like the originals with a small bit of their own flavor mixed in at various points.  They opened with Shine on you Crazy Diamond and ended (2nd encore) with Run Like Hell, I crapped myself.  One of the background vocalists did Great Gig in the Sky flawlessly, almost exactly as recorded with a fantastic voice.  Sheep ruled, Pigs on the Wing had the obligatory inflatable hog, and they used a giant inflatable (and freaky looking) kangaroo for One of These Days.

check out their live audio at that site, you'll see what i mean. :)

awesome
