It'd be nice to be able to download skins and terrains in "packages". For example, if you wanted to remove AH for whatever reason and completely reinstall it, after you downloaded and installed the game itself, it would be convenient to be able to go to the downloads page and select a package that included all of the skins, or all of the terrains. That way, you could just get them all in one neat package, instead of either waiting for the game to download and install them, or going to the downloads page and having to download them individually.

i thought that they used to have those for skins...i had wondered what happened to them.

As all the new planes are added the old "packs" weren't updated as frequently. This leads to skins showing up but not being able to use them (as with B17s, P51s, and almost all skins that were updated). By doing it 1 by 1 They just have to remove those "old" skins to clear it out, instead of recompiling a 100MB file. Saves a lot of time I wager.
