is there a setting i can use to get rid of the sandy look when flying over trees and what not?

Im using Nvidia GeForce 7950 Gx2 with 512x2 of vid card ram...

also is there a way to raise the frame rate limiter to above 60fps?  I use it because i dont want to blow my monitor with it constantly over 200fps with it off and with all the max graphics settings in game..

I have my FPS set to "unlimited" and have V-Sync (vid card setting) on. That limits my FR to monitor refresh rate of 75.

with vsinc on i still get over 200+ fps

If you don't get tearing there's no reason to limit your framerate.
