Interesting choice for a first post. I suggest you establish some form of reputation before you make a squad ;)

As far as divebombing, just practice. As to making friends... good question. I forget how my best friend (in the game) and I became friends. Ive been meaning to have him remind me... Start by making a total fool of yourself, and then laughing as though you meant to, and then make a stupid joke. That normally works.

yes, that can help, but you gotta put yourself out there.
Like Reynolds said :"Start by making a total fool of yourself, and then laughing as though you meant to, and then make a stupid joke. That normally works"
Use country channel alot, try saying hi when entering an arena  (ie: Knights ), ask where help is needed, offer to help capture/defend bases....etc.

there are alot of great folks here, and many will take you up on offers to help the "war effort".

Feel free to look me up when your online.  I'd be happy to wing with you(providing I'm not in squad ops).  I fly Knight in the EW and MW arenas, and usually Rook in the LW with squaddies.

Just remember that the main point of the game is to have fun.

Welcome to Aces High

ps... = Salute
pps...the Training Arena is a good place for practice without getting shot down. and you can usually find a trainer/senior member in there to help out
Flying as: Timber43

ahh you know what i meen reynolds mate.

Im talking about the odd few people who fob new players off most people are just acting stupid like you say but some think they are like royalty and arent interested in new players wich is just like other mmo`s.

As for a plane for a new player i started in the spit16 (dweeb16) dnt care what people say about it the plane is awsome.

All fighters are not the same. Spit is probably the most forgiving to learn it. A6M is fun also but slow.

i dont got enough perkies as it is and i like upen my lancs to kill 1 dang t 34 or wirble its fun droping 42 bombs

Well that depends on what you want to do in the game if you want to boom and zoom take a P-51 or something fast if you want to turnfight take a nice Spitfire any will do except the spit1 coz it only has 303s or maybe a zero or a 109 like lye-el said there all different some take a heck of a lot of practice to get used to and some are more forgiving.

well....i think a good test plane would be the P-40B....it's slow but packs a punch.it was the orignal plane for the "Flying Tigers" if you didnt know that already.
