actually I don't think bombs / normally carried ordinance would be perked... just some of the odd munitions / guns.

Say you want the 75mm gun on a ju87... slight perk to add that gun,
maybe a 110 with the cannons that fired directly upward - perked...
or you want to up a C-hog...slight perk on the D version giving it the cannon load-out.
maybe you have a flakpanzer for free, but you can get the wirblewind for a slight perks

I would think it would be based on situations like that.

I hope that includes perking the 1k bombs on fighters

Problem is, there technically ISN'T a MA anymore. HTC is going to divide the arenas even FURTHER?
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

You have no choice but to wait and see.  It's not as if when it comes out if you don't like it they will change it back.

The mind boggles.
a) You pay for 1000lb'ers, you get perks back if you hit something?
b) You pay for 1000lb'ers you get nothing back even if you do hit something?
c) You pay for 1000lb'ers, you get part back for part damage?

Sounds like another kludge is in the offing.

"Added more barracks to fields"
Interesting, slows down porking, but will make base taking even easier the way the game currently stands.

Why not just make the strat targets actually mean something!

"Removed 88mm flak from airfields and towns.
Added more manual and automatic AA guns to the airfields."

At last.

I was guessing in that one, then realised easiest way is to get the info from the source, therefore I asked.

[QUOTE

"We will gradually phase out all ordinance in the MA to encourage more air to air combat.
[/B][/QUOTE]

There are times when I sign on I just don't feel like flying a fighter so I will GV. Sometimes I'm in the mood to bomb something. Other times I like going on a ground attack.  And yes there are times when I want to take off and duke it out with someone.  I don't think I am entirely alone in this.
The fact that HT has to "encourage more air to air combat", should let them know that there are times when their customers enjoy doing something else.  So now, unless I am in one of my "duke it out" moods, it is going to cost me perks?
Oh well, they wrote the game and they can do whatever they want.

Copy and pasted from other thread I can't linky:

"We will gradually phase out all ordinance in the MA to encourage more air to air combat.  It will be a gradual transition, perhaps involving perking ordinance at first but eventually removed all together.  Another arena will be set up where this type of player can bomb buildings, CVs and other strat targets.  The war will end at scheduled times and everyone in the arena on all sides will be awarded perks for their contribution"

Or maybe that was laz's idea, I can't remember :D

Was my original thought, until i thought, hold on both the F4U-C and D can carry ord.
So why omit the F4U-C from the remodel?
Big difference is MG v cannons.

I would imagine in this case, when you select the "D" you will be able to select the "all cannons" gun package, for a cost, and this will then turn the "D" into a "C" ... so no need to keep the "C" model as a separate object in the hangar.

Anybody wanna take bets on how much usage % the la-7 loses if people have to pay for the third cannon?
