Just thought I'd let you guys know about this issue for the upcoming release of vista.

Aces high II installs and plays just fine on Windows Vista, provided it is done in XP compatibility mode.

However, it will not update when a new version or patch comes out. It just hangs up.

You actually have to uninstall the proigram and then re-install it with the download for the new version.

Is there a firewall like  norton that comes with vista? If so is there a updates frequently option?

There is a firewal, much like the windows firewall in XP where it will prompt you and ask for your permission.

I thought maybe that could be the issue, so I turned it off.

Still the same thing, causes AHII to hang when a patch update comes out.
