Not always true but most PS that come with a tower aren't to good. If I were you I'd go for a full sized tower. Much easier to build in and add stuff to.

Full towers are huge... :p I recommend just getting a PSU with modular wiring. It's all the extra, bulky wires hovering around (read: stuffed under the DVD-ROM) that take up most of the space in my Desktop sized tower.

Unless you're setting up a special tower with 12 CD-RWs in it, go with "mid-tower". Trust me on this. Thats' the standard case with up to 4 CD-ROM slots and 2 floppy slots.

Get "ATX" compatible cases, if your motherboard is ATX form factor.

Let's see if I can get this link to work, it's pretty long.

Click Me

That's with or without PSUs.

You're probably better off choosing your own. You might get a POS if you take whatever comes with the case.

[EDIT: Fixed link to show only cases with a side air duct]

Antec makes good solid cases, well build and not too expensive.

Hell, fans cost $3, that's nothing. I got a brand new case, all black with a fire red clear plastic front on top of the black (looks nice), has 4 5" bays, 2 3" bays, a side vent intake (most modern chips require this), and a front-panel attachment, fully ATX compatible, all for $30 (not counting S&H).

Don't spend more than $50 on a case is my suggestion. All it has to do is look good and function good, it doesn't have to be made from gem-encrusted gold leaf.

Yes, I agree that you can get a sleeved fixed speed fan for $3.

The point of this case is that it actually has a place to mount all those fans.  It only includes 3 120's and the 200, all with ball bearings and 3 speed switches.

Most people don't need that many fans, but it appeals to me because I live in the Tropics and prefer not to use aircon. :D My tower also resides in a bay in my desk, making cooling more difficult. I am hoping the 120mm fans running at 1200 rpms and the 200 at 400 rpms will be fairly quiet.  I am trying to stay away from the water cooling on my new rig.

Oh, and I bought mine in the brick n mortar store here.  Newegg wants $80 to ship a $30 case to Hawaii which makes this case at $89 in my hands  a bargain here.;) There is a price to pay for living in Paradise.

Yup,
I ordered everything except the case from Newegg.  Shipping was just under $100 without the case.  Amazing enough is that Comp USA prices here are the same as the mainland.
