BSG tonight

OK so maybe I missed something while watching the eppisode but I don't get it:

Why did they make the "bulldog" leave the ship, where did he go?

Did they explain why or come to ANY sort of conclusion why he escaped?  (other than to go after adama that is)

Very soft eppisode if you ask me.  The next one doesn't look that much meatier either.

Haven't watched it yet, but it's on the DVR.

I thought it was pretty damn good.

I didn't get the impression that they "made" Bulldog leave the Galactica. I suspect that we'll see him again once he's cleared his head.

Bulldog didn't escape. He was released on the possibility that he might kill Adama.

I would just assume that as an officer and a pilot they'd keep him on Galactica.  What other ships can he usefully serve on?  Just didn't seem to fit is all.  Maybe I'll watch the epp again tomorrow without the commercials.

Bulldog is a bit nuts. He's been away for three years and he just tried to beat the snot out of the Admiral.

Adama gave him the uniform at the end and told him, "once a pilot, always a pilot."

It makes sense. I don't believe for a second that a guy could be a POW for three years and then go back to active duty immediately.

perhaps he was going to the Rec ship for some RnR ...

now the real question is why did the cylons let him go , and how did they track the fleet's location so easy ??? hmmmm  plot thickens .

(theres something more to it then him going after Adama)

2 weeks guys ... aurgh .

nerds! :D

How many seasons of BSG have been made? We are on season one I think. Good show and it sounds like it attacts the modern day "trekkies"

Try season 3

Or is this season 2.5?

I'm not sure, I know season 2 was only like 10 eppisodes and they split it in half so I don't know if that counts as a whole season.

Bulldog is damaged goods, I bet we'll see some more wreckage from his stay w/ the Cylons in the future.  Right now, they sent him to another ship in the fleet to decompress and get fixed up.  In a few episodes, he'll probably jump into a viper and join the main cast, but it'd be nuts to put him under that kind of pressure right after trying to kill the Admiral.

More interesting was the conjecture that Adama might have inadvertently had a role in provoking the attempted genocide of humanity.

Yeah, Bulldog's on indefinite RnR. He'll turn up again. How DID the cylons know where the fleet was? They never covered that part. There has to be some infiltrators or tracking device onboard one of the ships. Most of the fleet was on the ground at New Caprica and cylons had plenty access.

Here's my big complaint, how the frack does Baltar get to have a 3-some with Caprica AND D'anna?:furious
