I find that when I quit the game, my screen goes blank (like my mind :) ) and the mouse stays, but my machine hangs. I have to reboot it

Has anyone else had this problem?

XP sp2 1 gig RAM.

I notice the game is really slow to exit, and while not getting a white screen, I'll see the log in screen, but the clipboard contains only a black square with the cancel button instead of the list of arenas. It stays like that for a few seconds, then everything seems to straighten out. Possibly related to lag?
