I have to repeat the message...
That sounds like a real bad preparation.
If there is a possibility of Flak...there has to be a preparation for it.
1st....get the field clear of acks
2nd...bomb the VHs
3rd...Clean the rest before troops are coming

In my trusty but frail yak, I have been able to (repeatedly) take out 1-2 acks per pass.


I typed out my whole strategy but erased it as I dont want it to become easy to kill all the acks again. I rather enjoy the fights its creating with everyone deathly afraid of ack.:aok

Stoney's talking about real life, not the game. Preperation or not there comes a time when you strafe an airfeild that you gotta get low and take on the flak.

I could never understand why P47s would strafe at low alt against the fortified flak towers. Seemed to me like they just wanted to get in there and shoot something.

All I know is that the new field ack literally makes me duck when I get near it.  I mean I DUCK in my seat.  My wife just looks at me like I'm a nut.
