I've always had a fascination with Rube Goldberg machines.  I just found this on youtube.  I'm sure these are advertisements for something but I don't speak Japanese.

Just a few weeks ago I was looking up Goldberg and found a bunch of machines on youtube.

near as I can tell 95% of all engineers idolize him and his machines and to their very best to design everything to be just like something he would design.

How to crack an egg in no less then 27 steps LOL

I am of the opinion that all engineers should be required to build,maintain and repair anything they design for at least 5 years after they have designed it and before they releace it for use among the masses

THEN they will discover they are no where near the genus they think they are LOL

If you are into those type machines you should see if you can pick up a copy of the PC game "Incredible Machines"

I wouldn't go so far as to make them go for 5 years, but it's a nice thought. :D

Not very long ago one of the worst things I could call someone was "cessna engineer". This is especially the case when I was working on the 337's we serviced. :mad:
