Question...
« on: November 23, 2006, 11:45:37 AM »
I've looked around for a bit and haven't seen it anywhere. If I missed it, I apologize, but how exactly does scoring and ranking work? Obviously you get credit for air-to-air / air-to-ground kills, but are there any further rules for scoring or modifiers?

Check the Help File on Scoring. You are scored in two main categories: against objects (buildings, ships etc) and and vs enemies (planes, GVs). Each of those categories scored seperatly depending on what vehicle you were in: Fighter, Attack, Bomber, GV/Boat (depending on what you choose to score for in hangar - for example a P38 can be scored as FIGHTER or as ATTACK). You can look up your scores on the homepage under Community/Scores - individual pilot scores and killstats (broken down into plane type).

For Scoring there are no modifiers, but the Perk Point System is dependant on how many people are online for each team at the moment you start your sortie.
21 is only half the truth.
