Thanks. :)

Those notifications are done primarily for the poster.  It allows them an oppertunity to re-visit the forum posting rules with the hope they will chose to respect said rules.

In that thread's case, the poster had already decided he had no intention of respecting those rules.

Never ask me to give to anyone who is not willing to give it back.  I do my best to respect everyone here, until they prove they are not willing to respect HTC.

Ok, that didn't exactly answer my question, but thanks for replying. I like to learn from other people's mistakes as well as my own.

There was a question?  Read like a statement or comment.

I think his question was "what rule did he violate?" He said you didn't post the violated rule.

It was meant as a question. Sorry for the confusion. :)

Ok, for your edification it was Rule #4 or #5.  Number 5 is a bit of a stretch as there is nothing anyone can say on this board which is going to get me all worked up.

EDIT:  I'll never understand people who want to ask me a question directly, but post it on a public bulletin board.  Just odd.

Thanks. Since the rules are open to subjective interpretation it is important to know where the line is drawn.

Perhaps others would like to know your answer as well. You are after all an official on this bbs.

If the question had been personal I would have e-mailed you.

When I asked Skuzzy if he'd like to go out to a movie and some ice cream, I did that in private.

Well Skuzz, methinks its do to the fact your kinda like a big brother / father figure to some.
Many folks like public discussions with you so they FEEL like they are getting their share of personal attention from joos. AND everyone else is also able to see that. Als its a reassurence that joos take a personal interest in their virtual lives here on the BBS and that you do indeed care enough and well maybe even in some odd way lub your lil charges and try to ensure that they are learned whats right and whats wrong in a constructive and nurturing enviroment.

-OR- Some folks just like drawing joos out into a debate type setting to try and make joos defend joos position with an eye towards getting one up on ya

EDIT: Buy big brother i meant the family version NOT the ever present Govt!! trying to control every part of our lives and strip away all or privacy ad civil rights!!:furious

EDIT part deux: i also lub joos man!!!

I think he meant the Orwelian big brother before he meant the knuckle noogie dribble spit into your eye big brother, but what he meant to say was not what he meant to mean until he revised his meaning to what he actually meant.
