What do you get your wife when she goes out, spends $115 of her own money, and brings you home a(n) X52 the day after Thanksgiving, and you don't even ask for it?

Multiply $115 x 7 and go to a jewelry store.

I never buy my wife anything for christmas birthdays anniversaries etc.  it was a sore point early in the relationship so I eliminated them from her lexicon.  however if on tuesday I run across a good deal on a ring tennis bracelet barry manilow tickets or what ever she gets that.  plus she gets to spend however much of my discreationary money that she wants on whatever she wants.  it's worked out well for us.  I hope that helps but your position is compromised on this one.  :D

Storch has a very valid point...

Its not so much what she gets for xmas, birthday and other mandatory gift occations... its much more about the "thoughts" in between these..

If you buy her something that you know she would love when there is no other reason to buy her the gift then that you thought of her and that you thought that it would make her happy... then your gonna be a lucky man...

You a lucky man Frode...

My wife got me my first 3D accelerated Graphics card as a surprise, so I know what its like....

I once bought her a pair of Tastful High Heels as a surprise, I used the color printer at work to print a picture of one of her favorite trees (a Jacaranda) and taped it to the top of the box... She was so happy that night when I got home cause she had no idea that I had bought them...

In short...  Just make her feel that she is appreciated and it should make her happy....

Some area's have Ladies Spa's where they can get a facial, manicure, pedicure, etc. and the packages start out at 100$ and go up from there.
