Please Indicate Name in Gun Position...
« on: November 26, 2006, 06:39:15 PM »
When it's filled.  If you click on it, perhaps a message that says "this position is occupied by Extra1" or something.

It's a small thing, but eventually you will get to recognize names sitting in shore batteries not firing, or sitting in CV 5" guns while Buffs from their main account dive bomb the carrier.

Not that it'll stop it, but at least it will, perhaps, save some wasted time typing "who's in the battery and why isn't it firing?" in country chat, or asking in ranged who's manning the defenses of a field or group...

something yes,  I heard someone Saturday night ask just this question, who was just sitting in the shore battery with an enemy CV right of the coast and not firing.   you could have something like ranking used like it is with CVs, if you're higher rank you could bump someone out of the gun :t

Aye, rank them like CV command!  That way, not only could you see who was in it, you could have someone with more seniority remove them if they were sitting there afk....
