This is Pinky.  He's a short haired domestic cat that's very playful and loving.

Bat, have you ever had a *raging* cat crawl the insides of your thig, probably biting too?

(Ive seen cats in that state claw and bite through thick welding glowes. It does hurt...)

The cat was on leash for the very reason showed - so it cant run during the filming. Thats a quite normal (and reasonable) procedure. Trying to catch it in a paper box looked rather funny to me - a blanket wouldve been a lot more effective and less scaring to the cat.

I saw that one coming from a mile away……if you’re going to agitate the **** out of a cat, don’t keep that cat on a leash attached to self.

If you listen, both the cat and the man make the same noise.

The question is who would win the cat or the gator?

I have a dog that one of my cats tried going nuts on it like that once.
the dog thought it was great fun.
Cat eventually gave up when it found itself with its entire head in the dogs mouth with the dog carrying him around like that and clawing and freaking was having no effect.

Oneof the funniest scenes Ive ever seen

the cat now doesnt even bother trying anymore.

Now I figure a Gater could probably take my dog. and the dog certainly has no problem with Cats no matter how crazy they try to act.

So my money is on the gator ;)

Reminded me of a chapter in one of Mark Twain's (Sawyer or Huck) where they feed the tonic to the cat.  Used to have me rolling in tears when I was a kid.

edit: Found it. The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Chapter XII - The Cat and the Pain Killer

You haven't met one of our cats yet.  It's a barn cat that's about 80% feral.

I once saw it get in a scrap with a Fox.  The next day I found the fox totally destroyed up on the top of the lawn.

The cat isn't completely bad bellybutton though.  He's got a big piece of his right ear missing, and may be blind in his right eye.

Had a similar type cat like that when I first got my house.
Was the kitten of a wild stray we managed to trap.

Was almost a month before he would let anyone near him

Kittens of strays make the best damn cats if your gonna have a cat.
they behave more like a dog and definately have a different type personality then your typical sissy housecat.

This thing would bring home rabbits and possums bigger then he was.

Damn good cat. We called him "MISTER Baily cat"

now we have 3 others. One who is pretty good. Not a bad cat at all as far as cats go. He's actually pretty cool. But he thinks hes a dog. Actually according to him, he belongs to the dog.
but a decent cat and not a PIA like most cats.
The other two are the next best thing to useless.
One female my daughter brought home one day and another male which is her offspring who we couldnt find a home for.
Nobody particularly cares for the cat as he has ZERO personality.
We never even bothered nameing him
We just call him "the Orange Cat"
Even the other animals dont really care for him

thats the one that usually ends up going swimming in the pool.
Well..They all do every once ina  while.
But thats the one that usually does somethig to piss me off tot he point where I toss him in regularly.
Its also the one that tried going nuts on the dog

I jogged past two cats this morning.  I hadn't seen so much enthusiasm in a furball for as far as I can remember.  If I hadn't heard the meowing and hissing, I could've sworn it was two chickens having at it - there were patches of white fur flying like in pillow fights.

The final act's sideways prancing, bushy tail and all, is really picturesque.

Agreed!  Our current cat just showed up to our door one day.  It is the nicest cat, but still brings home some of the largest rats I have ever seen.

It even decimated the squirrel population in our area.  That's both Flying and Standard Ground squirrel.  I have no idea how she would get ahold of the flying squirrels.  But she used to always leave the flat little rudder tails on our doorstep.

But I think she's slipping.  I saw the first squirrel in the distance on our property for the first time in 3 years.
