I could had been someone that bailed out on the base and ran to the map room and hid inside, killing your troops with his .45

Had done it myself many times.:aok

Lesson to be learned. Sanitize the map room before dropping troops.

The person in the chute woulda showed up on the range list in the film, had that been the case.
