Weazel, first ressource to run through could be the internet. Then double check with paper books if the skin in question is an actual historical one (sometimes on the Web you get "skins" of rebuild warbirds and/or models that look accurate but actually are invented). Of course you can always double check by posting on this Forum.... Guppy being the live encyclopedia where WW2 skins are concerned.

Suggest you wade through the 109 and D9 profiles on this site.  if one grabs you, post it, then the LW junkies can tell you if it's accurate :)
