Nothing wrong with it. It's the second most undervalued car there is(the first is Citroen BX). Doesn't rust very much, good ride, and good engines especially diesels. Some gasoline models are prone to catching fire though.

Just another guy trying to put food on his family's table.  As sketchy as their dealings are I dont blame them.

They're getting the technolgy update and licence for manufacturing older types of French cars!"!"!"!""!"

While this is nothing, well at least they can make their own.

C'mon, I had Ladas (3 of them), - these were USSR copied Fiats...

They worked okay, but the reliability was somewhat...low.
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

The Renault 5 is a supermini produced by the French automaker Renault in two generations between 1972 and 1996. It was sold in the U.S. branded Le Car in the 1970s and 1980s.

The Renault 5 was first imported to Britain in 1977, and was one of the first French-made cars to achieve real sales success on the British market. In the space of seven years, 216,199 examples of the Renault 5 were sold. Findings by the Auto Express car magazine in August 2006 revealed that the Renault 5 was the fourth most scrapped car ever to be sold in Britain, with just 499 still registered.

little brother to this piece of trash...I owned one of these in 1983, blue two door.   I think the car eventually just disintegrated...

(a slight aside, it just occured to me and resurected a memory,  my 5th grade teacher's name was Mr Googler...)
