this is a Le Car
The Renault 5 is a supermini produced by the French automaker Renault in two generations between 1972 and 1996. It was sold in the U.S. branded Le Car in the 1970s and 1980s.
The Renault 5 was first imported to Britain in 1977, and was one of the first French-made cars to achieve real sales success on the British market. In the space of seven years, 216,199 examples of the Renault 5 were sold. Findings by the Auto Express car magazine in August 2006 revealed that
the Renault 5 was the fourth most scrapped car ever to be sold in Britain, with just 499 still registered.
little brother to this piece of trash...I owned one of these in 1983, blue two door. I think the car eventually just disintegrated...
