How about bringing back 109G-10?

How about bringing back the 109G-10?

109G-10 would be a nice filler gap between the performance of 109G-14 and 109K-4.

109G-14 had max speed of 408 mph
109G-10 had max speed of 428 mph
109K-4 had max speed of 452 mph

109 Land / G10 vs K4

I thought the K4 and the G10 both utilized the same DB605D powerplant.  I'll have to do some forum searching, but I think I remember HT saying that the G10 and the K4 models were the same, with the exception that we lost the 20mm options.

I wouldn't mind seeing a mildly perked K6 with the 30mm gondolas become available myself ;) (as long as we are wishing...)

the 109g10 was loads of different planes, with loads of different field mods.

the germans then created the 109K4 that brought all the different mods of the 109g10 together, and created "one" plane with all these good points.

Our G10 that we had was basically the best performing G10 there ever was, and it was renamed a k4 , and the g14 was added.

the 109g-10 is not the same as 109K-4.  109G-10 still had fixed wheel instead of retractable gear in the tail section.  The nose bumps from previous 109Gs (including the g-14) were eliminated with the g-10.

One point the G10 we had was a K4 just with a 20mm hub option.

IMHO
Was HT's idea to sneak in 2 planes with 1 model.

I was talking about the AH model - I know the actual aircraft was different ;)  I thought I remembered HT telling someone who was missing the G10 that the "new K4" in AH was actually the same as the "old G10", minus the 20mms.  You are going to make me go look and see if the AH K4 has the retracting tail gear though...

I pretty much asked for it elsewhere.  Go look in the general.  Didn't get a very good response.
It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.

I enjoyed flying the G-10. The K-4 is a waste of time. Basically the same and the same, arent the SAME.
