The pic of that plane engine is enough to make me say it, and seeing the ground below. My luck the engine would rip off and take the wing with it, and you'd have all that time to say oh sht over and over until splat.  I think thats what turns me off from air travel. Car wrecks happen in the blink of an eye..most air wrecks you have time to think about it.

That last one is the result of gremlins. I know because I saw it on a Twilight Zone episode. No one wanted to believe it but there is the proof. Gremlins!!!!!

This Sturgeon was caught on the Willamette River just below Oregon City
two weeks ago.
It weighed out at over 1,000 lbs and measured out at 11'1". It was 56"
around the girth and took over 6 and a half hours
And 4 dozen beers for the 4 guys taking turns reeling

My diving instructor told me the only thing my dive knife was good for was to cut my buddy so i could swim away from the shark.

Well the knife certainly wont do much vs a shark.

I was taught to use the knife to bang the metal blade against the metal of my scuba tank and that WILL drive the sharks away.

Never used that trick against a feeding-frenzied shark, but I have used it when I start noticing more than 2 of them having a strange interest in me. The metallic clanging hurts them and makes them lose interest in you.

I guess if the shark is really going after me... well... id try to make him swallow the scuba tank first ;)

What do they eat?
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)
