Something I didnt "get"
When PS3 was first available and you had all these people camping out in lines at the stores.
In some places two days in advance.
Now as if that wasnt bad enough. The most any 1 store had in stock of the PS3 was something like 30.
Most only got in 15-20
Yet. there were lines of 80-100 people at these stores.
Why???
I could almost understand up to 40 as a few may drop out for one reason or another.
But 80?
Did these idiots somehow think another 50 would magically appear out of thin air?
Or did they think they might get lucky and the store managed to overloook one that they would get?
My favorite story was the guy that camped for 2 days. actually got the PS3
Then was robbed at his car and had it stolen from him
LMAO
One of my newspaper buddies camped out and bought one and then wrote a story about the experiences for the newspaper... Our web guy is being a little slow with getting that issue up online, but if he ever does manage, I'll post a link... It's kind of an interesting story about how all this went down.
