"mini freezes" when using mouse, hat switch or controls
« on: December 03, 2006, 12:43:06 AM »
Whenever I move my mouse around, use my hat switch, or use any type of control input, I get either a one or two second "mini freeze" where the screen freezes for a second (and my FR counter on FRAPS drops to 0 for a second), or else theres delay of a few seconds before the control input takes effect.

This has only started since the last update. I've tried changing video settings, reinstalling the game, reinstalling my joystick drivers, turning FRAPS off, even wiping out all my skins in case it was something with loading the views, nothing has had any effect. It even happens moving the mouse around on the start screen trying to select online/offlin/etc or trying to select an arena. Have tried high and low res, changing resolution size, rerunning the cache generation... nothing. :cry

This is not happening with any other game I have, including IL2. Theres even a delay on my VOX when I playback my films recorded since the update, it keeps cutting off the first second or two of the transmission.

Getting EXTREMELY frustrated and annoyed....
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.
