Mission Planner Upgrade
« on: December 04, 2006, 06:08:13 PM »
I did my best NOOB search and could not find anything on this.

My wish list is to be able to plan missions that have units being able to depart from other bases at differnt times.

For example Bombers taking off from a base way in the rear to gain altitude.  Then Fighter escorts could join them later as the ready to penetrate enemy lines.

This could work for Vehicles, Ships, etc etc.  End goal here is to make the mission editor/planner so as to have more options for more stategy ability.

What do you guys think?

Dont mean to answer my own post.  Just thought of something else.

We seem to have trouble getting people to join missions because they have kills or are on the way somewhere else and dont want to bail.  Even though they want to join the mission.  So to go along with the upgrade, is there  a way a person could join a mission and not get penalized for bailing and then losing any kills, perk points etc?

Just a thought.

Thats a good idea.  Maybe have it to that they can join safely if the mission launches and they're still in the air.

Still, it would encourage people to fly balls out until that time and then just jump out of their plane.  It'll probably never happen.
