Beatles - Love
« on: December 04, 2006, 01:36:48 PM »
Just picked up the new CD of Beatles remixes produced by Sir George Martin for the Cirque Du Soleil Vegas show.  All the remixes are from the original master recordings and are still impressive to me this day as they were 30+ years ago.

As a long time lover of Beatles music I have found in recent years I have lost the interest in hearing the music simply because of over over exposure.

This remix stuff is top notch and very listenable.....the opening "Because" is stunning to say the least and it generally gets better from there.  Lots of really top notch production work on this effort.  A treat for any serious lover of the timeless music from Lennon/McCartney/Harrison/Starr.

I recommend it with enthusiasm :D

I'll have to check it out...Thanks!
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

I started a thread about this last week.  Here's a link where you can listen to a stream of it-

I think I'll hold out for the DTS 5.1 DVD audio mix.  It should be incrdible.
