I posted one of my films as well to show a lil different style. If you notice, the first pony I encounter is VSSE ,but after a few turns he bugs out and in comes OlDemon, who allways gives me a run for my money.I actually ended up getting the LA-7 as I neared my base.He reversed into me and after a scissors fight I shot him down.Landed deadstik.

He elects to avoid an engagement. He dives for the deck with you chasing. You both level off at abut 50 feet doing around 450 mph.

You will never catch him until long after he runs out of WEP.

I must say, I fly the 109K4 almost exclusively at the moment and I have have found nothing but great ease in catching and killing P-51Ds.

Perhaps they all over-load themselves like greedy pigs, but I have never had a problem closing to 200yards and tearing their wings off.

At the very most I've had a P-51 maintain an equal distance to me for a few miles while I was RTB ammo. He closed to 2.0k and could get no closer, so I landed my kills without incident.

I find your research to be most interesting though, so thank you for putting in the effort.
