There were no GV's in the "WINTER WAR"????  :huh

If you don't want GV's around the bases where you want to Furball at least put them on another part of the map when the guys can fight back and forth if they want to.

Not everyone likes to fly all the time. Us GV drivers like to play to and the terrain is one of the best.  ;)

Please give it a thought.

The Finns had few if any -- and since infantry with Lahti anti-tank rifles are not modeled, a one sided GV game would seem pointless to me. . .

Have seen all kinds of pics of Finnish tanks - don't know where you got that. Probabily alot more around than there were Finnish ME-109's!

Besides, I doubt the "Flood" of GV drivers would throw the numbers off that much from their little planned Event.

From the Winter War? IIRC they only had about a dozen light tanks total.

During the Continuation War (i.e. after active German alliance and Barbarossa underway) they likely received some German armor and, of course, used captured Russian tanks whenever possible.

Then again, I don't think the Brewster was available for the Winter War either, and it is in the setup, so perhaps the scenario was set later.  I dunno.

I think we both are on the wrong time period. No biggie - the event is over anyway.

Thank You Jester!

This event was only to having fun and furballing on the deck with summer 1944 fighters, and it really was!
