This has to be the most bazzar thing in the world to say but a few years ago someone that I worked with for about 6 years told me about some crazy things he did as a kid.. like torturing the neighborhood animals and eluded to maybe even some other sadistic activities. He then looked me in the eyes and told me that if a child psychologist had ever gotten hold of him, he would have easily been pegged as a future serial killer. Of course, my first thought was... uhhh.. and this guy never got any help... great.

Now, I've always thought he was a natural sadist cause of how he reacted when someone would tell a story about how someone else had gotten hurt, but ever since he told me this stuff it always been in the back of my head that maybe .. just maybe.. you never know...

Oh ya... and another weird thing is that his best friend was investigated by the FBI when they were looking for the unabomber cause they found his name and address in Kazenski's cabin and he looked a lot like the unabombers physical discription.

I know I know... laugh all you want.... I feel stupid for asking but anyone know a site where I can find info on current killers on the web?

If you want to see if you're under suspicion for something, just come right out and say it.

For serial killers, specifically, I'm thinking that if the FBI had information about 'active', or even 'retired' ones, they'd probably go a bit farther than setting up a database. At least I'd hope so.

Ok you got me... my mother has suspected for some time now that I don't wear clean underwear everyday... or WEAR underwear at all everyday. That's it!

I'm sure the FBI does, but I am looking for some place that might list actives in my area.

Ok, joking aside, you're looking for a site that lists 'active' serial killers in your area?

Don't you think that if they're known, that they're likely to be either in prison or incarcerated in some sort of hospital? I would hope that this would be the case.

LOL Yes... if the FBI knew who they were... I would hope that would be the case.

I'm looking for info on Actives that have not been caught. The bad guys that are still out there and are curretnly being looked for.

Try the DA's office... They often have bulletins with victim information for unsolved cases.

If you're so worried, try telling the cops/FBI about your little pal there and let them clear his name. This isn't the schoolyard anymore...

I NEVER SAID i WAS sOOO WORRIED. It's just a "You never know...." worried.

And his name is already clear so not sure what you ment by that.. its just the guy seems a little too off on the sadistic physical and psychological stuff to be normal.

I agree. Tell the police. And you are lucky. Last time I posted something like this (person who looked me in the eye and told me everyone is capable of suicide bombings) I get laughed at. go figure

What I meant by it is here's what'll happen if you tell the police...

1. They decide whether an investigation is warranted...
2. If so, they investigate him
3. They find nothing, and clear his name, which you've just shed doubt on

I'm not saying this to be an ass. This is how the system works, and if you are concerned, you should consider doing something. But, if you don't have a damn good reason, be prepared to be laughed at either to your face or behind your back at the police station.
